If shipping is charged to your FedEx account, the HazMat fee will be billed directly by the courier. Otherwise, the fee will be included on your invoice. To help you avoid the HazMat fee, we can package a 5g order of a class 6.1 packing group I or II material as five separate 1g units, and a 100g order of any other dangerous good as four 25g units. Benzoic anhydride can be used as a: Condensation reagent in the synthesis of carboxylic esters from carboxylic acids and alcohols.Coupling reagent in the synthesis of macrolactones.Acylating reagent for acylating sulfonamides, amines, alcohols, and phenols using ZSM-5-SO3H as a catalyst.It can be also used as a reagent for the preparation of benzyl benzoate , benzylidene dibenzoate , 4-benzoyltoluene .
